Lava Run is a craft-able board game about saving your dinosaur from a volcanic eruption! Place tiles to cleverly guide the lava as you move down the volcano. Use special tiles to mess with your opponents, all while trying to be the first dino to escape!

The newest addition is from the designer CrochetMeZaddy, aka Zac, who took my prehistoric pattern prompt and turned it on it's head with a crazy fun and adorable Ammonite, the prehistoric mollusk!

🧶 New updated crochet pattern! 🧶


I finally finished the update for my classic triceratops pattern! The newly pattern includes the following updates:

  • Beginner friendly design update! - Freshly designed to teach how to crochet to beginners!
  • New video tutorial - Plus a left-handed version!
  • Customization options - Learn to make multiple versions of the triceratops.
  • Updated interactive PDF - New pdf includes checkmarks and time codes to make crocheting as easy as possible.
  • Totally free! - The written instructions are free on the Club Crochet site, and the PDF is free to download for Backers below!

I spent a lot of time trying to perfect this pattern as best I can. I really hope you enjoy it! Still got a few more patterns left on the hook coming next week by the way!

We just finished up all the designs for the 3D printed renders of the dinos for Lava Run! The downloadable STL files will be included in the craft-able version of the game for anyone looking to print them from home. I've also included a last minute Add-On to the project so you can purchase a printed 3D set for painting at home!

🧶 New collaboration crochet pattern for Backers!



I reached out to 4 crochet designer friends to make some dino crochet patterns as extra gifts for Lava Run backers and Club Crochet members! The newest addition is from the amazing designer and friend SirPurlGrey, aka Phillip Ha, who designed this insanely cute Archaeopteryx, the feathered bird-like dinosaur!

While this new crochet design is not a playable dinosaur in Lava Run due to it's size, it is one of the coolest and cutest dinos EVER!! I guess you could crochet one using thread if you want to make it playable... but that would be crazy... right? 🤔

1 Week Update! ✨ Co-Op Mode Unlocked ✨ New tiers, new dino patterns, and 2 livestreams this week!

We're only one week in and have already erupted straight through 4 stretch goals! Let's look at what we've unlocked, this week's livestreams and giveaways, and what's in store for future rewards!

👏 Co-Op + Single Player Mode Unlocked! 🔓✨



We hit 600 backers! That means we've unlocked my most anticipated addition to Lava Run, Co-Op Mode!! This new game mode is an extension of the single player version, where you work together to escape the volcano to the raft!

And don't forget about the 3 other stretch goals we've unlocked, including new Dino Tiles giving each character a special move, a new playable dinosaur, the Brontosaurus, and 2 new event tiles the Tsunami and Rainstorm!

🧶 New Dinosaur Crochet Pattern for Backers (see below!) 🧶 



We just released a brand new collaboration pattern on my site, Club Crochet! As a special extra thank you for all the support throughout this week, me and the designer, DrewbiesZoo, are releasing the new Parasaurolophus crochet pattern free to any backers of this project (as well as members of Club Crochet of course). 

Heads-up, this design is not small enough to be a playable piece in Lava Run, but it does crochet an adorable new dino, the Parasaurolophus! We'll have the option to unlock this dino as a playable piece if we reach our next stretch goal by the way!!
